Wohoo! It is year 2008! Which means.. it is a year for celebration for Outo. This is the fifth birthday for Outo. And you better buckle your seatbelts because there will be a new collection of Outo products coming this year! More about that later on.

I´ve been designing next falls products and tested them aswell. Last weekend we tested some products in Talma with team rider Timo. It was super fun!

If you live in Espoo and you are interested in learning how to make beanies, come to Weegee House on 19.2 and 21.2. I´ll be there and teach you how to crochet! I take care of yarns and hooks, just bring yourself there. And you can keep the beanie you have made on the course!

I just got back from Holland. I was there for a week because there was a big Christmas fair in Rotterdam. People were very interested in the beanies and now there are a couple of dozens of people walking in the streets of Rotterdam with Outo beanies on their heads. And also one cute dog! A lovely couple asked if I had ever made a beanie for a dog. I have not done that so I had a try and it became pretty good. The dog was jumping around happily with the beanie and the pompom bouncing all the time. The dog looked absolutely adorable!
I talked with some people about importing Outo beanies in Holland. So, people in Holland, get ready for Outo world domination. Unique designs coming your way!

"Hej på dig!" Greetings from Sweden. I made a trip to Sweden on 9-10.11. There was a big happening in Strängnäs, about 70km away from Swedens capital, Stockholm. So I made beanies at the fair and sold couple of beanies as well. As usual, I got strange looks and people were very interested. And then one handicraft teacher almost hired me to teach her class how crochet. Unfortunately she started to hesitate when she heard that I was from Finland. We´ll see what happens!
Christmas is coming! If you want to give a beanie as a present for your friend, please remember to order it early enough.

G`day! Whoa, the time has flown past so fast, I even forgot to write the blog. Beanie making has kept me extremely busy.

Outo has got new dealers around Finland and in foreign countries!

If you are from England, I recommend you to check out the British Ski & Snowboard in Birmingham NEC in 2-4.11.2007. You can check out Outo beanies on Bite & Chews stand.

Would you like your kids to have an individually handmade beanie aswell? Take a look at the Outo baby beanies in www.nordickids.co.uk. Those beanies look absolutely adorable!
In Finland Outo has got new dealers in Ivalo, Porvoo and Turku. I will inform you more about them later on when I have delivered the beanies to the shops.
And that is not all, I m going to Sweden to a fair in 9-11.11.07. There will be a new dealer aswell!
